Citizen Science Award. Get involved!
Monitoring woodpeckers at the Natura 2000 site Lendspitz-Maiernigg.
The Natura 2000 site Lendspitz-Maiernigg is home to numerous “woodpecker trees” and hollow trees. In our project Citizen Scientists observe and document the breeding activity of woodpeckers and other cave breeders living in the site. The collected data serves as valuable information for future tree protection.
The school class submitting the most protocols and obversations wins. Individuals submitting the most protocols receive material prizes.
For further information on taking part in the project and registering for a date, please contact Susanne Glatz-Jorde via Glatz-Jorde@e-c-o.at.
