Long Night of Research
An ode to science
At this year’s Long Night of Research on April 13, E.C.O. was represented by three projects. The topics and questions ranged from “How mighty can a small snail be?” to “What does pizza have to do with biodiversity?” to “How would neophyte control look like in a board game?”
The main station of E.C.O. addressed the origin of the ingredients of a conventional pizza. On a world map, the participants were trying to locate the countries of origin of the ingredients on their favorite pizza. The following solution lead to some surprise and to discussions.
Over 9,000 guests visited the stations of the Long Night of Research, we are more than happy about this successful and fun evening!
