Team trip 2015
This years` team trip brought E.C.O. to the the Geopark Karawanken in the south of Carinthia. First, the team and their families explored the protected Trögener Klamm near the town Eisenkappel-Vellach. From there the team made a guided geological excursion into the Potokgraben, where everyone had the opportunity to look for prehistoric finds of clams and snails. A delicious dinner in Jerischach rounded off an amazing day.
A sportive challenge was on the plan for the next day. After breakfast the team climbed the Felsentore on the mountain Uschowa. After a nice first part of the climb, a little rock climbing just below the Felsentore was necessary to reach the final destination. At the top, everybody was rewarded with a wonderful view. Back in the valley, the team finally visited the visitor centre of the Geopark Karwanken in Bad Eisenkappel, where everybody got an insight into local geology and the history of the Karwanks.
