Start-ups for nature conservation.
"A great success, there's no other way to describe it," says Michael Jungmeier, co-initiator of #Unearthed19. "28 participants from 12 countries spent three days developing business models for nature conservation start-ups. The future belongs to green business ideas. I would like to thank everyone who made this event possible through their contribution, participation, contribution and interest". (www.ecounearthed.com)
#Unearthed19 took place from November 29th to December 1st in the MakerSpace Klagenfurt. A team of experienced experts for nature conservation topics as well as for start-ups supported the teams in the step-by-step development of a business idea. A jury selected the most promising idea. The winning team plans a special application of Environmental DNA, a genetic method for determining species.
In addition to the serious examination of the various topics, there was also plenty of room for fun and exchange in the MakerSpace. "From the many positive feedbacks, we can see that all participants see themselves as winners. This is also illustrated by the pictures of the event.
